Away Vacations, another major step!

I am happy to announce that we are in the process of becoming a full service travel agency starting in April 2007. Our legal filing is complete and we will be finishing up on the details such as bookkeeping, invoicing, banking and business procedure.
I am so excited to be able to help all my friends who have been encouraging me to take this step. My husband and I believe that this is our passion and it will integrate well with our other business interests.
Call it a "Mountain Top Experience" if you will. David and I just returned from the Great Smokey Mountains where we made some significant decisions. This decision to go from online travel portal to full service travel consultant is one of the many decisions we made.
What makes this most exciting to me is that this next step will allow me to offer great deals to destinations I have been to personally and through tour operators that I have experience with. Why this is exciting to you is now I don't have to send you someplace else for your travel arrangements, I'll be able to take care of all the details myself so you can simply GO SOMEWHERE.

This is a brand new website that comes as a result of the recent sale of our travel agency and years of experience in sales and website management. In short, this is a way for Carrie to leverage her experience as a travel agency owner and David's experience as a website developer and small business consultant.
